Affiliate Faculty

Dr. Andrew R. Marks is Professor and Chair of the Department of Physiology and Cellular Biophysics at Columbia University and an affiliate faculty member of the Choice Intelligence Lab. His research focuses on the molecular and physiological mechanisms underlying cellular function, including calcium signaling and its role in cardiovascular, muscular, and neurological disorders.

His involvement in the Lab's Physiology of Choice research area brings an interdisciplinary perspective to the study of decision-making, connecting fundamental physiological processes with broader questions concerning cognition, behavior, and human choice. His expertise offers opportunities to explore the biological foundations of decision-making and the potential implications of these mechanisms for understanding cognitive limitations and choice behavior.
